Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Enalapril Maleate and Folic Acid Tablets in the treatment of patients with hyperhomocysteinemia and essential hypertension ( type H hypertension ) complicated with diabetes mellitus ( DM ) and its effect on glucose metabolism, renal function and serum homocysteine ( Hcy ) . Methods Totally 84 patients with type H hypertension complicated with DM in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, 42 cases in each group. The two groups were given routine treatment such as blood glucose control, on the basis, the control group was treated with enalapril, while the observation group was treated with Enalapril Maleate and Folic Acid Tablets. The changes in blood pressure [ systolic blood pressure ( SBP ) , diastolic blood pressure ( DBP ) ] , blood glucose [ fasting blood glucose ( FBG ) , postprandial 2 h plasma glucose ( 2 hPG ) ] , renal function [ serum creatinine ( SCr ) , Cystatin C ( Cys-C ) ] and serum Hcy before treatment and after 6 months of treatment were compared between the two groups. Results After 6 months of treatment, the detection results of SBP, DBP, FBG, 2 hPG, SCr, Cys-C and serum Hcy in the two groups were lower than those before treatment ( P < 0. 05 ) , and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group ( P < 0. 05 ) . Conclusion Enalapril Maleate and Folic Acid Tablets in the treatment of type H hypertension complicated with DM has good curative effect, it can reduce the blood pressure and the level of serum Hcy, alleviate the disorder of glucose metabolism and renal function damage, and which can be beneficial to the prognosis of the patients.关键词
