Effect of Quality Control Circle on Improving the Medication Awareness Rate of Patients with Residual Urinary Calculi

Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of quality control circle ( QCC ) on improving the medication awareness rate of patients with residual urinary calculi. Methods Through establishing the QCC and using the quality control management tools to carry out activities, 100 patients with residual urinary calculi in each before and after the QCC activities were randomly selected, the data were collected through questionnaire survey. Finally, the medication awareness rate of patients with residual urinary calculi before and after the QCC activities were compared. Results The average medication awareness rate of patients with residual urinary calculi increased from 69. 00％ ( 69 /100 ) to 89. 00％ ( 89 /100 ) , which promoted the communication among doctors, pharmacists, nurses and patients, and improved the medication safety. Conclusion The implementation of QCC activities not only improves the medication awareness rate of patients with residual urinary stones , but also enhances the sense of responsibility and ini tiative of the members in QCC team , and improves the ability to solve problems.关键词
