Clinical Effect of Addition of Biyuan Tongqiao Granules for Treating Secretory Otitis Media and Its Effect on Inflammatory Factors Level

Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effect of addition of Biyuan Tongqiao Granules in the treatment of secretory otitis media and its effect on the level of inflammatory factors. Methods Totally 86 patients(98 ears) diagnosed with secretory otitis media were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group,43 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conven-tional Western medicine,on this basis,the observation group was treated Biyuan Tongqiao Granules,the course of treatment was 30 d. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 87. 23％,which was significantly higher than 68. 63％ of the control group(P < 0. 05). After treatment,the levels of TNF-α,IL-4 in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment (P < 0. 05),and those in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P < 0. 05). There was no significant difference in the adverse drug reactions between the two groups(P > 0. 05). Conclusion Addition of Biyuan Tongqiao Granules in the treatment of secretory otitis media has exact clinical efficacy and good safety.关键词
