摘要

Abstract

As the important automotive part,exhaust manifold met new challenges with the trends of energy-saving and emission-reduction.The situation was summarized of manifold materials,its forming and the latest development in the word.The development directions point out,materials trends higher high-temperature comprehensive performance,and more application of SiMo ductile iron/CGI,Ni-resistance ductile iron and stainless steels;developing new high performance materials with lower materials cost for the higher temperature work conditions;weight reduction,thin-wall design,and the integration of manifold with turbo-housing or manifold with cylinder head;higher requirement of manufacturing process ability and manufacturing precision.
