Abstract
The activation process of the electric activation thermal battery was simulated based on ANSYS.The simulation method of the activation time of the thermal battery was given,and the temperature distribution characteristics of thermal battery in the activation process were also analyzed.The activation of the thermal battery was separated into three processes:the ignition of electric match,combustion of the fuse strip and heat source pellet and decalescence and melting of the electrolyte.The spending time of the first process was obtained through experiment,and the spending time of the second process was achieved by measuring the burning rate of the fuse strip and heat source pellet,and the spending time and temperature distribution of the third process were investigated by ANSYS simulation.The activation time of two thermal batteries was simulated and compared with the testing value,and the results show that the simulation method can represent the activation of thermal battery to some extent,having some guidance significance for estimating the activation time of thermal battery.关键词
