乌拉特后旗测老庙坳陷下白垩统巴音戈壁组实测剖面简介——测老庙坳陷典型露头介绍之三

Abstract
Objectives:The Celaomiao Depression,the eastern part of Bayingebi Basins,is located in Chaogewendu' er Town,Wulatehouqi (Urad Rear Banner),Bayannur City,Inner Mongolia.The research is mainly focused on sedimentary environments of the Lower Cretaceous Bayingebi Formtaion.In this article three stratigraphical sections surveyed in the Celaomiao Depression have been demonstrated.The two outcrop cross sections are situated in the western side and eastern side of the depression along its southern margin respectively,and the other one is near the northwest margin of the depression.The scarcity of vegetation in the Celaomiao and well-exposed outcrops make the three sections be important places for geological research and field training.Methods:We described three measured stratigraphic sections of the Lower Cretaceous Bayingebi Formation respectively located on the west side and the east side of the southern margin,and along the northwestern margin of Celaomiao Depression,Urad Rear Banner,Inner Mongolia.The traverse plan and measured stratigraphic section and stratigraphic log of the Bayingebi Formation from three sections were made.Sedimentary environments were analyzed based on the lithological association and sedimentary structures.Results:The section on the west side of the southern margin exposes the main part of the Bayingebi Formation containing a complete set of continental depositional sequences consisting of,in ascending order,alluvial fan facies,fluvial facies,lacustrine facies,fluvial facies,and alluvial fan facies.These strata unconformably overlie the Precambrian metamorphic rocks and their top is unseen.In the section on the east side of the southern margin,terrestrial deposits corresponding to alluvial fan facies,braided river facies and alluvial fan facies,from bottom to top,belong to the upper part of the Bayingebi Formation.The lower part of these deposits may stratigraphically repeat with strata in the section on the west side of the southern margin,and the top is unseen.The section along the northwestern margin exposes a set of strata mainly composed of lacustrine shales and intercalated with sandstones of a lacustrine delta,representing the middle part of the Bayingebi Formation with the bottom and top unexposed.关键词
