Multi-scale Characterization of Resin-Cement Interface Modification

Abstract
In order to investigate the characteristics of the interface between cement matrix and transparent resin and the modification effect of coupling agent on the interface from multi-scale level, the resin-cement interface was treated with the silane coupling agent A-151 and aluminate coupling agent, respectively.The bonding strength, micro-hardness, microscopic morphology and chemical reaction of resin-cement interface were characterized by the macro, meso and micro scale with the tensile and oblique shear, micro-hardness, fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and environmental scanning electron microscopy tests.The results show that in the macroscopic aspect, silane coupling agent A-151 and aluminum coupling agent can significantly improve tensile and oblique shear bond strength of interface between transparent resin and cement matrix,the 28 d strength at least increased by 73%and 40%.In the mesoscopic aspect,the coupling agent significantly improves the interface micro-hardness of resin-cement,especially in the -10-10 μm range,which reduces the resin performance weakened region thickness up to 100 μm.In the microscopic aspect, the silane coupling agent A-151 and aluminate coupling agent react with hydroxyl(OH)in calcium silicate hydrate(CSH)to form Si-O-Si and Al-O-Si bond,respectively.Two coupling agents can make the interface cement paste and transparent resin tightly integrated to form a whole.The interface adhesion is greatly improved.关键词
