Abstract
High purity bentonite is of great value,and classifying process is largely critical to improve the purity of bentonite.In this paper,using bentonite collected from a certain area as the subject,classifying test was conducted on the basis of ore properties,to study the effect of dispersant type and amount on the yield of each classification and the content of montmorillonite, as well as the law and mechanism of dispersant influencing mineral dispersion behavior.The results show that when the dispersant dosage is 0.5%, the dispersion effect order of different reagents is: sodium polyacrylate >sodium hexametaphosphate >sodium pyrophosphate, which is estimated by the yield of -5 μm classification.With high negative charge density, the particle surface potential absolute value of sodium polyacrylate increases, and the electrostatic repulsion enhances,which inhibites the accumulation of particles and gravity sedimentation. Thus,the dispersion degree of the pulp is greatly improved.关键词
