摘要

Abstract

Firstly,the main characteristics and application fields of plastic scintillating fiber were introduced.Aiming at the high requirement of quality of plastic scintillating fiber end face in the radiation detection field,the relationship between the quality of fiber end face treatment and the mechanical properties of fiber material was studied.The hot-knife cutting method was used to cut plastic scintillating fiber to explore the respective influence of the blade temperature and the base temperature on the quality of the end face treatment.The optimum cleaving conditions were obtained by the experiment.
