摘要

Abstract

This paper taking WDM-PON as mobile fronthaul solution, studied the effect of different modula-tion schemes on the WDM-PON mobile fronthaul network system performance, which is based on the RSOA. The study was conducted at a downlink rate of 40Gbit/s and an uplink rate of 10Gbit/s. With uplink signals us-ing no-return-to-zero (NRZ) modulation mode, the downlink signals use optical duobinary (ODB), modified doubinary (MDB),4 order pulse amplitude modulation(PAM-4), differential phase shift keying(DPSK) modu-lation method respectively. In software, a simulation system is established to study the system performance of four descending modulation methods. The eye digram and Q values of the up/down link signals are detected.
