摘要

Abstract

Elastic optical networks (EON) should be suitable for the two constrains of wavelength continuity and spectrum continuity when routing and spectrum matching. As a result, there will be a great deal of frag-mentation in the network spectrum when building and terminating lightpaths in a dynamic manner. In order to improve the degree of EON fragmentation, this paper proposes a dynamic routing and dynamic spectrum fiting (DRDSF) strategy, and builds an experimental model to simulate the business blocking rate and spectrum re-source utilization. The experimental results show that the DRDSF spectrum is more effective in controlling the spectrum fragmentation in EON dynamic business environment, compared with the traditional defragmenta-tion cleaning mechanism. What is more, network performance can be improved significantly.
