Application of nano-hydroxyapatite in the clinical treatment of oral diseases
摘要
Abstract
Nano-hydroxyapatite (nHA) shows a structure similar to that of hydroxyapatite crystal in human bone tissue and tooth enamel. Given its excellent physical and chemical properties, biocompatibility and osseointegration, nHA has been extensively applied in the clinical treatment of oral diseases. This article reviewed the most recent findings about nHA in stomatology, including the modification of restorative materials, tooth remineralization, tooth desensitization, pulp canal therapy and pulp tissue engineering. These studies are indicative of the future remarkable significance of nHA in stomatology.关键词
