摘要

Abstract

A pot experiment was conducted to study the effect of different dilutions (1:100, 1:300, 1:500) of seaweed extract on the growth of two sugarcane varieties (YT03-393, YT94-128). The results showed that, in term of the average value of two varieties, the net increase of plant height was significantly higher (>10%) than that of the control every month after applying different dilutions of seaweed extract, which could promote the growth of sugarcane, and the biomass of leaf and stem increased significantly. Seaweed extract could help to improve the chlorophyll content in leaves and improve the photosynthetic rate of sugarcane leaves. This experiment provided a theoretical basis for the comprehensive utilization of seaweed extract on sugarcane.
