Abstract
The effects of mineral oil on the performance and aging performance of silicone sealant were analyzed by experiment and test.The sample A with no mineral oil and sample B with mineral oil were prepared by formula design and the performance of the two samples were tested under standard conditions,after heat aging,after water-UV irradiation and after 5000h UV aging process.Test results showed that:For sample B (with mineral oil),the hardness after heat aging was very obvious increase,the maximum strength elongation decreased significantly,the adhesion and fixed elongation adhesion after the cold drawing-hot pressing process was broken,the maximum strength elongation decreased significantly and the sealant was completely degumming in 3500 hours during the 5000h UV aging process.While the performance of the sample A (with no mineral oil) before and after aging process changed little.The experimental results show that the adding of mineral oil seriously affects the aging performance of silicone sealant,and there will be a great risk of quality in the long-term application process.And through the case analysis,the harm brought about by using silicone sealant with mineral oil was introduced in this paper.关键词
