摘要

Abstract

CBN and corundum belts,at the same granularity,were used to grind 45 steel.Their grinding performance were analyzed and compared.Results show that the grinding ratios of CBN belt and corundum belt are 210.4 and 18.9,respectively,which means that the wear resistance of CBN belt is better than that of corundum abrasive belt.It is also found that CBN belt does better than corundum belt in the surface quality of grinding workpiece,while the surface roughness Ra of the workpiece are almost the same,respectively 0.127μm and 0.128 μm,and that the abrasive protrusion of CBN belt is higher,leading to superior initial grinding efficiency.In addition,the hardness of resin bond in corundum belt is small,which basically loses the grinding ability after grinding for 60 minutes,but nickel metal bond in CBN belt matches well with CBN abrasive,so that CBN belt could keep 28.2 g/h grinding efficiency after 180 minutes.
