摘要

Abstract

Biofilms are important in water ecological system,which have functions of developing water quality by adsorbing and degrading pollutants.In recent years,biofilms have been widely used in remediation technology within a variety of aquatic environments.Through the control of hydrodynamic conditions,the formation process of biofilms including initial attachment,growth and detachment can be regulated.Besides,hydrodynamic factors change the structure within the biofilms.Quorum sensing signal molecule,as a bacterial cell group of passing information between not nutrients,not energy material,and not enzyme chemicals,as well as through quorum sensing effect changing the structure of the cell transcriptional regulatory proteins,control the formation process of biofilm,affect the characteristics of the biofilm.This paper helps to provide an important theoretical basis of responding mechanisms of biofilms to hydrodynamic forces.Our focuses are given for several aspects including formation processes,physical-chemical characteristics,community structures and metabolic processes,etc.Based on the important functions of quorum sensing processes in the formation and evolution of biofilms,the interactions between hydrodynamic conditions,quorum sensing working systems and different behaviors of the biofilms are also concentrated and discussed.This paper provides references to the regulation of biological membrane system in aquatic environments.
