Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of salmeterol xinafoate and fluticasone propionate powder for inhalation combined with montelukast on treatment of patients with cough variant asthma.Methods A total of 110 patients with cough variant asthma were divided into experimental group and control group.The control group was treated with salmeterol xinafoate and fluticasone propionate powder for inhalation,while the experimental group was treated with salmeterol xinafoate and fluticasone propionate powder for inhalation combined with montelukast sodium.Clinical efficacy,cough symptom scores and tung function were compared.Results The total effective rate of the experimental group was 92.73％,which was significantly better than 76.36％ of the control group (P ＜ 0.05).After treatment,the cough scores in the daytime and nighttime in the experimental group were significantly better than the control group (P ＜ 0.05).The lung function indexes of the experimental group significantly increased after treatment (P ＜ 0.05),and wee significantly better than those in the control group (P ＜ 0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence rate of adverse reactions between the two groups (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusion Salmeterol xinafoate and fluticasone propionate powder for inhalation combined with montelukast is effective in treatment of patients with cough variant asthma.关键词
