Expression of Rce1 gene in tongue squamous cell carcinoma and its clinical significance

Abstract
Objective:To study the expression of Rce1 gene in tongue squamous cell carcinoma(TSCC)and its rela-tionship with clinical stage,tumor pathological type and cervical lymph node metastasis.Methods:Rce1 gene was analyzed in 47 cases of tongue cancer tissues and adjacent tissues by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR.The expression of Rce1 protein was analyzed by Western Blot.Results:The expression of Rce1 gene in tongue squamous cell carcinoma was signifi-cantly higher than that in para-cancerous tissue(P<0.05).The expression of Rce1 gene was not correlated with TSCC path-ological type(P>0.05).The expression of Rce1 in T3~4 cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in T1~2 stages (P<0.05).The expression of Rce1 gene in TSCC patients with cervical lymph node metastasis was significantly higher than that in patients without metastasis(P<0.05).Conclusion:The expression of Rce1 gene is related to the occurrence,devel-opment and lymph node metastasis of tongue squamous cell carcinoma.It can be used as one of the prognostic indicators of patients.关键词
