摘要

Abstract

The lightning shock discharge phenomenon of jatropha curcas oil which was derived from non-food and mineral insulating oil in a very uneven field strength that was produced by the form of needle-plate electrodes were studied. The results were showed that the discharge shape, discharge length,discharge capacity and discharge development speed of jatropha curcas oil in the same peak with the very uneven positive and negative impact voltage were better than or as good as 25# mineral insulating oil, the jatropha oil could be used to replace mineral insulating for high voltage equipment insulation.
