Analysis of erosion wear characteristics of photovoltaic based on DPM model

Abstract
Erosion wear behavior of sand grains on the surface of photovoltaic (PV) modules was simulated in sandstorm gas-solid two-phase flow using discrete phase model(DPM). The influence of wind speed, sand particle size and installation inclination on the surface erosion rate of PV modules was analyzed. The results show that the erosion rate of PV modules varies exponentially with wind speed, and also changes obviously with different installation inclinations. So that, wind speed and installation inclination are two main factors that affect surface erosion rate of PV modules.关键词
