Study on the Less Salt Process for Rex Rabbit Skins

摘要

Abstract

In order to reduce salt consumption in the rex rabbit processing and the difficulty of treating effluent,the Rex rabbit skins amount of less salt in soaking,bating,picking and chrome tanning process are optimized in this paper has been studied.According to measuring the water content and the swelling capacity of the skins in soaking and picking,the minimum consumption of salt in each process is determined.The results show that the salt dosage can be reduced from 80 g to 40 g in all processes of the tanning,the shrinkage temperature is above 95 ℃ and the resultant fur is soft,fullness and good physical properties.
