Abstract
Objective To determine the thresholds of multiple auditory steady-state evoked responses (ASSR) and single-frequency steady-state response of patients with sensorineural deafness to investigate the reliability of single-frequency steady-state response.Methods The pure tone audiometry (PTA),ASSR and single-frequency steady-state response were examined in 129(258 ears)patients with sensorineural deafness and the thresholds were recorded at 500,1000,2000 and 4000 Hz.Results Pearson correlations between the PTA thresholds and the ASSR thresholds were 0.61,0.87,0.89 and 0.81 in 500,1000,2000 and 4000 Hz and the P value is 0.038,0.017,0.014,0.020,There was significant difference between ASSR and single-frequency steady-state response at 500 Hz.Pearson correlations between the PTA thresholds and the single-frequency steady-state response thresholds was 0.81 at 500 Hz.Conclusion Single-freduency steady-state responses were able to increase the reliability of AASR to assessment hearing at low frequency and this reliability will better at the patients with worse hearing.关键词
