Word Orders of Attribute-head Phrases in the Chinese Sign Language
摘要
Abstract
Attribute-head phrases are an integral part of a natural language,and their word orders are largely classified into the following groups:indicator + noun,numeral + noun,adjective + noun,possessive element + noun,relative clause + noun and so on.The paper studies the sequence of the heads of modifiers and definitive elements in the Chinese Sign Language.The findings show that definitive elements are mostly behind the heads in the Chinese Sign Language,albeit that they may be before nouns or integrate with nouns.关键词
