摘要

Abstract

In this research,a novel method for preparing biodegradable cellulose-based air filter materials based on freeze-drying technique to remain fibrillation of the fiber surface and avoid hornification was presented.The plant fibers were chosen as the raw materials and treated by using grinding in different revolutions.The effect of various degree of fibrillation treatment on the structure and properties of cellulose-based air filter materials was investigated.Besides,the influence mechanism of fibrillation treatment on Z direction morphology of filters was also researched.The results demonstrated that the air filter materials behaved the superior filtering performance under the treatment condition of 50000 r grinding revolution、-56℃ freezing temperature and 1.5% pulp concentration.Furthermore,the fibrillation treatment made more microfibrils remained on the surface of fibers and free hydroxyl groups exposed,which enhanced the interleaving force of fibers and uniformed the pore distribution among materials.In addition,three-dimensional spider-web like structure consisted of microfibrils and fiber back bones could improve interception capacity of air filters for particulate particles.Therefore,the environment-friendly cellulose-based air filter material was fabricated efficiently and controllably.
