Abstract
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of acupuncture and moxibustion guided by "ascending-descending theory" treating insomnia patients with the pattern of deficiency of Spleen and Heart.Methods:106 insomnia patients met the pattern criterion were randomly divided into the control group(n =53) and the observation group(n =53).The points chosen for acupuncture and moxibustion in the control group were those with the action of sedation and invigorating Qi and generating blood;on which basis,the points with the effect of ascending and descending Qi movement were also applied in the observation group.Acupuncture was twice per day,sparrow-pecking moxibustion was once a day,and seven days was taken as one course of treatment.The clinical effect was evaluated after two courses of treatment,scores of PSQI and TCM symptom were assessed before and after the treatment in the two groups.Results:Scores of PSQI score and TCM symptom were significantly reduced after the treatment in the both groups;the PSQI score (4.07 ± 2.43) and TCM symptom score (5.56 ±2.26) in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(7.62 ±2.17,7.86 ±2.18).The total effective rate of the observation group was 98.11％,which was obviously higher than 86.79％ of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion:The therapy of acupuncture and moxibustion guided by "ascending-descending theory" can significantly improve insomnia of deficiency of Spleen and Heart.关键词
