Abstract
Objective To study the effect of quercetin on invasion and apoptosis of bladder cancer cell line BIU-87. Methods Human bladder cancer cell line BIU-87 was treated with quercetin at different concentrations and time. Cell proliferation was detected by CCK-8 assay. Transwell method was used to observe the changes of invasion ability of bladder cancer cell line BIU-87, and the apoptosis rate was analyzed by flow cytometry. The difference of hIAP-2 and MMP-2 protein expression was detected by Western blot. Results Quercetin can inhibit the proliferation of BIU-87 cells and inhibit the invasion of BIU-87. Quercetin can induce apoptosis of bladder cancer cell line BIU-87, and the expression of hIAP-2 and MMP-2 protein were decreased. Conclusion Quercetin can inhibit the proliferation and inva-sion of bladder cancer cell line BIU-87 and induce apoptosis of BIU-87. The mechanism may be related to down-regulation of hIAP-2 and MMP-2 protein expression.关键词
