Mechanical and Electric Performance of Honeycomb Sandwich Conformal Load-bearing Antenna Structure

Abstract
Conformal Load-bearing Antenna Structure (CLAS) with FRP skins and NOMEX core was subjected to 4-point static bending test.And the antenna performance including electromagnetic tests with true or false antenna in that structure were carried out before and after the 4-point static bending experiment.The finite element model was established with sandwich plate theory and separate entity modeling method by ABAQUS,defining failure model of the honeycomb core with USDFLD based on the maximum stress criterion of anisotropic material.Results show that the finite element model can accurately simulate the structure stiffness and strength.The antenna performance did not change significantly after test,verifying the availability of such structure and the accuracy of simulation method.关键词
