Error Correction of Transient Heat Transfer Experiment Based on One Dimensional Hypothesis
摘要
Abstract
Knowing the time at which the termochromic liquid crystal (TLC) changes color,then the heat transfer coefficient can be calculated applying the analytical solution of one-dimensional semiinfinite plate hypothesis transient heat conduction.However,this process disregards lateral-conduction error,so this paper analysis theoretically the error caused by lateral heat conduction due to temperature distribution on the surface.Also the results from one-dimensional plate hypothesis and the corrected results are compared and analyzed.When the non-dimensional excess temperature ranges between 0.44 and 0.55,and using narrow band TLC to measure the heat transfer coefficient on the disk between non-dimension radius of 0.77 ~ 0.94,the error due to lateral heat conduction would be controlled within 1.5%.关键词
