摘要

Abstract

According to the real situation that the manual metering of traditional power meter is inconvenient and the cost of informational reform is high,an Android-based remote reading system for power meter was designed and realized.Firstly,digital image algorithms were used to locate the pointer of power meter.Secondly,according to the shape features of the meter,the thresholds were set to analyze the deflection angle of pointer.Furthermore,the pointer reading of meter was calculated in line with the relationship between deflection angle and range of meters.Finally,the reading result was sent by SMS service.The experimental results indicate that the system can realize remote reading of power meter,which has the application potential.
