Optimal Siting and Sizing of Distributed Generators Considering Dynamic Network Reconfiguration

Abstract
Aiming to maximize the economic benefit,an approach for optimal allocation of distributed generators (DGs) considering dynamic network reconfiguration is proposed based on the second-order cone programming.Firstly,an expanded DistFlow model is proposed for the meshed distribution network considering the status of sectionalizing switches and tie-line switches.Based on it,the optimal allocation model for DGs is developed.Secondly,the concept of"virtual branch voltage"is introduced to linearize the model.And a linear constraint method for the radial topology based on"active power flow"is proposed.In addition,a unified optimization model is established with the substitution of current and voltage variables and the second-order cone relaxation.Thirdly,to solve the problem that the relaxation may not be exact when the upper bound of the voltage magnitude is limited,an assistant voltage constraint is added to the second-order cone model.Finally,the feasibility of the proposed method is tested in the standard IEEE system.The result shows that the network can consume more distributed generation and the economic benefit can be improved through dynamic network reconfiguration.关键词
