摘要

Abstract

Three-level T-type converter (3LT2C) combines advantages of two-level converter and conventional three-level converter.It can improve output performance and operation efficiency of the system and reduce voltage stress and conduction loss of power switches.As a new type of energy storage device,superconducting magnetic energy storage (SMES) system has broad application prospects in power grids because of its high power density.In this paper,mathematic models and port-controlled Hamiltonian (PCH) models of SMES based on 3LT2C are established.Through analysis of SMES passivity proof,energy-shaping control strategy based on feedback interconnection structure is designed to eliminate nonlinear effect.Finally,simulation results show that the proposed topology and control strategy can reduce total harmonic distortion and improve SMES power tracking capability.Its application in wind power generation system also shows that the proposed SMES can effectively stabilize wind power fluctuations and achieve an efficient grid connection of wind farms.
