Abstract
Objective To study the expressions of Foxm1,MMP-2,and MMP-9 in breast cancer and theirs correlation with clinical pathological features. Methods The expressions of Foxm1,MMP-2,and MMP-9 were detected with immunohistochemical EnVision plus non-hiotin technique in 140 cases of breast cancer tissue and 140 cases of tissue adjacent to carcinoma. The relationship between the expression and clinical pathological features was analyzed. Results The positive rates of Foxm1,MMP-2,and MMP-9 in breast cancer tissue were 75.71% (106/140),74.29% (104/140),and 72.14% (101/140);and the positive rates in the tissue adjacent to carcinoma were 30.71% (43/140),20.00% (28/140),and 22.86% (32/140).The tositive expression rates of Foxm1,MMP-2,and MMP-9 in breast cancer tissues were significantly higher than those in normal adjacent breast tissue (x2=7.15,6.78,and 7.09,all P < 0.05).The expression of Foxm1 in breast cancer tissue closely related to tumor diameter, tumor tissue differentiation,TNM stage, and lymph node metastases (all P < 0.05).The expressions of MMP-2 and MMP-9 in breast cancer tissue closely related to tumor tissue differentiation,TNM stage, and lymph node metastases (all P < 0.05).Conclusion There is a close relationship between the abnormal expressions of Foxm1,MMP-2,and MMP-9 and the proliferation and metastasis in breast cancer development and malignant biological behavior;and Foxm1 may promote the ability of invasion and metastasis of breast cancer by increasing the expressions of MMP-2 and MMP-9.关键词
