Abstract
Aiming at the planning calibration campaign of Jason-3 satellite altimeter,the feasibility of computing altimeter bias using IGDR (Interim Geophysical Data Record) preliminarily is analyzed.The direct absolute calibration method using GPS buoy is introduced,and the method of evaluating the above feasibility is designed.The difference between calibration results calculated by IGDR and GDR (Geophysical Data Record) is compared,utilizing the data passing through the 4 calibration sites around the world.The results show that two kinds of computed results have no obvious systematic bias,and the uncertainty of the difference is about 1 cm.Comparing to the standard error at 3cm level calculated through GDR by traditional calibration sites,the influence of this uncertainty on the consistency of computed results is small,IGDR can be used to calculate the altimeter bias preliminarily during the campaign.关键词
