Effects of dihydromyricetin on drosophila with neurodegeneration

Abstract
Objective:To explore the effects of dihydromyricetin on drosophila with neurodegeneration induced by aluminumion.Methods:To analyze the effect of dihydromyricetin on neurodegeneration drosophila with Al-induced by different concentration groups and the control group were compared by survival assay and climbing assay.Results:The life span and climbing conditions of flies fed with dihydromyricetin were significantly different from normal control group and Al group.The average lifespans of flies in the normal group,Al-induced group,Al-induced group with different concentrations of dihydromyricetin including 1 mmol/L,5 mmol/L,10 mmol/L,15 mmol/L were 21.3 days,4.2 days,7.6 days,8.9 days,5.4 days,and 3.6 days,respectively.The normal group and other groups had statisticallysignificant difference.Al-induced group had statistically significant difference from Al-induced group with 5 mmol/L dihydromyricetin,and had no statistically significant difference from other groups.Conclusion:Dihydromyricetin has a certain protective effect on Al-induced fruit flies with neurodegeneration and the result has important significance on the prevention and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.关键词
