摘要

Abstract

Objective:To explore the characteristics of the head and face of Erdos Mongolians,and to understand the classification types of five head and face indexes of Ordos Mongolians.Methods:20head and face indicators,5 head and face indices of 336 (male 142,female 194) Ordos Mongolians were measured,calculated and classified according to the Human Body Measurement Manual and Human Body Measurement Method.Results:Ordos Mongolian males and females were characterized by brachycephaly (length-breadth index of the head),metriocephalic (breadth-height index of the head),hyphicephalic (length-height index of the head),hyperleptoprosopic and mesorrhiny.The average of morphological facial index of females was larger than that of males and the height-breadth index of the nose was opposite.The cephalic index of Ordos Mongolians with highest rate of occurrence was brachycephaly,mesocephaly,and hyperbrachycephaly.Breadth-height index of the head of men and women were tapeinocephalic,metriocephalic hashigh rate.According to the morphological facial index the rate of males with euryprosopy and hyperleptoprosopy was high,and the rate of women with euryprosopy,leptoprosopy and mesoprosopy was high.Nasal index of men and women were the highest rate.Conclusion:Compared with the other 10 Mongolian groups,Ordos Mongolians are characterized by longer and lower head,wider face and wider nose.The 5 head and face indexes of Ordos Mongolians are closest to Qinghai Mongolians and Barhu Mongolians.
