Abstract

In order to prepare activated carbon from thin skin walnut shell in Xingjiang, 0.7 mol/L ZnCl2 was added to the muffle furnace with 600 ℃ and heated 50 min.The effect of factors including the initial dye concentration, radiation time and the adsorbent dosage were studied based on microwave, light waves and microwave-light wave combination C1 and C2.The results show that the optimal adsorption efficiency were reached under the irradiation time of 2 min, initial dye concentration of 500 mg/L and adsorbent dosage of 10 mg.The fitting results show that the adsorption process was more good with the pseudosecond-order dynamic (R2 =0.9928), which indicate that the one belonged to chemical adsorption, and the Langmuir equation could describe the adsorption process (R2 =0.9919), which indicate that the adsorption process was single molecule layer adsorption.The analysis of Orthogonal Experiment show that the order of factors for the adsorption efficiency flown as adsorbent dosage, dye concentration and adsorption time, and the adsorbent dosage had the most significant effect for the adsorption efficiency.
