Preliminary Report of Degradation Characteristics of Mulching Film in Tropical Area

摘要

Abstract

In order to screen degradable mulching film suitable for tropical area,and lay a foundation for demonstration and popularization of environment-friendly biodegradable plastic film in Hainan area.The characteristics and degradability of 11 types of degradable mulching films (TW,ND-SJ3, ND-SJ4, ND-YS, ND-HS, ND-FS, HN-WS,TZ1,TZ2, HD1 and HD2) were compared with the soil film in comparison with the common plastic film.The results of exposure test showed that the induction period of TW was the earliest and the degradation was the fastest. Until exposure 180 days, most of degradable plastic films were degraded completely except HN-WS and TZ2.After Two months soil-bury test,except for TZ2 and TW, other films were degraded to some extent.The degradation rate of HN-WS was the highest,followed by ND-SJ4 and HD2. TZ1,TZ2,ND-SJ3 and HD2 can be used for field test demonstration in Tropical area of Hainan.
