摘要
Abstract
Objective:To discuss traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) treatment and rehabilitation for closed fracture of distal radius in elderly patients. Methods:A total of 153 elderly patients with distal radial frac-tures who were treated in our hospital from September 2012 to May 2014 were retrospectively analyzed and followed up. The patients were treated with TCM reduction ,external fixation with splints ,early functional ex-ercise and oral administration and external washing with TCM herbs. Results:The wrist function was evalu-ated by Garland-Werley wrist score. The results were excellent effect in 85 cases,good in 53,fair in 13 and poor in 2. The excellent and good rate was 90％ and the cure rate was 100％. Conclusions:It is a good way to treat this disease by TCM closed reduction,external fixation of splint and early functional training,com-bined with oral administration and external washing with TCM herbs. The cure rate is high and the curative effect is satisfactory. This treatment could alleviate the suffering and reduce economic burden of patients.关键词
