Abstract
Objective:To study the therapeutic effect of modified Zhengrong decoction combined with acupuncture on paralytic strabismus. Methods:There were 90 patients with paralytic strabismus divided into 2 groups. There were 45 patients in the decoction group treated with Zhengrong decoction ,while there were 45 patients treated with self Zhengrong decoction combined acupuncture in the decoction+acupucture group. The total effective rate of paralytic strabismus treatment,normal eye movement recovery time,time of complete disappearance of diplopia,time of disappearance of compensatory head position,healing time,preoperative and post-administration synoptophore examination score,symptom score,differences in quality of life scores were compared between 2 groups. Results:Compared with the decoction group,decoction + acupuncture group showed high total effective rate(P<0.05);decoction + acupuncture group was less than decoction group on normal eye movement recovery time,time of complete disappearance of diplopia,time of disappearance of compensatory head position and healing time(P<0.05),while after treatment,decoction group + acupuncture group was higher than the decoction group on these scores(P<0.05). Conclusion:The therapeutic effect of Zhengrong decoction combined with acupuncture on paralytic strabismus is obvious ,and can effectively relieve clinical symptoms,promote the recovery of eyeball movement,reduce the course of treatment and improve the quality of life in patients.关键词
