摘要

Abstract

[Objective]The aim of present study was to explore the relationship between gene expression levels ,activity of ProDH ,and proline contents in Medicago Sativ a cv .Pianguan under PEG stress .[Methods]The alfalfa were treated with PEG (20%) for 0 h ,24 h ,48 h and 72 h ,and the proline contents ,activities and expression of ProD H mRNA of the plants were determined using qRT-PCR .[Results]The proline contents and expression of ProD H were increased constantly with the increase of treating time ,while the activity of ProDH was decreased .Gene expression of ProDH was upregulated .[Conclusion]The result showed that ProDH activity was inconsistent with expression of ProD H mRNA .In conclusion ,the enzymatic activity of ProDH could be dual controlled by both transcription and translation .
