Abstract
Glucose regulated protein 78(GRP78)is regarded as a major chaperone of endoplasmic reticulum(ER),which plays an important role in the process of protein folding and transport as well as endoplasmic reticulum stress. In addition,it also exists in the surface of tumor cells,endothelial cells and monocytes,and serves as a receptor for viral entry into host cells. ER stress is an important pathogenesis of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD). The excavation of GRP78's function will provide a new approach for the defense mechanism of NAFLD.关键词
