Abstract
As a special inspection and quarantine method,quarantine detector dogs have been widely applied in the field of inspection and quarantine in more than 30 countries and regions . At present,many countries and regions have built their own national training bases for quarantine detector dogs. In recent years,with the rapid growth of the entry-exit business,China's demand for quarantine detector dogs has been increasing year by year,and two national centers for breeding and rearing such dogs will be established according to the definite requirement. As an important place for training quarantine detector dogs,the scientific and rational planning of the bases is very significant to ensure sustainable development of themselves,such as the size of the bases,geographic location,human resources, breeding dog reserves and the sources of the puppies. In order to achieve sustainable development,the following issues need to be done:setting the tone and direction accurately,doing a good job in dog breeding,arranging and strengthening the reserve of human resources,constructing the eco-environmental protection bases and expanding the bases for other function,so as to lead the industry.关键词
