Abstract
Objective The purpose of China Gastrointestinal Cancer Surgery Union is to build an open,fair,and scientific platform by means of national and regional cooperation based on data communication.This report retrospectively summarized the diagnose and treatment data of gastric and colorectal cancer patients from centers of the union in the past 3 years.Methods The union sent questionnaires on basic diagnose and treatment data of gastric and colorectal cancer to all the centers of the union.Different centers collected and summarized their data by year and sent back the questionnaires to the union for summary.Results From 2014 to 2016,the union collected 285 questionnaires from 85 centers all over China.In the 3 years,a total of 88,340 cases of gastric cancer were summarized and there are 17,187 cases of early gastric cancer,62,432 cases of locally advanced gastric cancer and 8,543 cases of metastatic gastric cancer.(There are missing values in centers and the same below).A total of 94,277 cases of colorectal cancer were summarized and the proportion of different stages is 12.61％ for stage Ⅰ,17.60％ for stage ⅡA,13.43％ for stage ⅡB,7.22％ for stage ⅡC,35.92％ for stage Ⅲ,7.42％ for stage ⅣA,and 3.90％ for stage ⅣB.Different patients of different stages have their own diagnose and treatment features.Conclusion The data report of China Gastrointestinal Cancer Surgery Union partly reflexes the current status of gastrointestinal cancer diagnose and treatment in China.The data communication would promote the standardization of gastrointestinal cancer diagnose and treatment,and would in turn improve the quality of data in all centers.关键词
