Effects of Niobium and Titanium on the Microstructures and Performances of Hypereutectic High-chromium Cast Iron

Abstract
The effect of titanium and vanadium on the microstructure and mechanical properties of hypereutectic high-chromium cast iron was investigated.The results show that the niobium can neither refine primary carbides nor refine eutectic carbides.The primary M7C3 carbides and eutectic carbides could be refined obviously with the increase of titanium content.The hardness of primary carbides and eutectic carbides increases with the increase of titanium content,and the impact toughness changes little.The wear resistance of high-chromium cast iron increases with the increase of titanium content.关键词
