铸造工艺对WE54镁合金显微组织和力学性能的影响
Influence of Casting Method on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of WE54 Magnesium Alloy

Abstract
The microstructure and mechanical properties of WE54 alloy prepared through permanent mold casting (PMC) and resin sand casting (RSC) were studied comparatively.The results show that the microstructure of PMC and RSC as-cast WE54 alloy is basically the same,but the microstructure of RSC WE54 alloy is coarser,and the amount of secondary phase is lower due to the cooling rate is slower.The mechanical property of PMC WE54 alloy is better than RSC WE54 alloy.The ultimate tensile strength of peak-aged (T6) PMC WE54 alloy are 327 MPa and 261 MPa,and yield strength of peak-aged (T6) are 234MPa and 209 MPa,respectively.The lower mechanical strength of RSC WE54 alloy is mainly caused by its coarser grain size.In addition,the shrinkage defects of RSC WE54 alloy also reduces the tensile strength.关键词
