Abstract
Objective To study the effects of procedure for prolapse and hemorrhoids (PPH) and Block repair procedure (Block) for rectocele (RC).Methods 80 RC patients were randomly assigned to two groups,with 40 patients in each group.The treatment group received PPH,and the control group received Block.The operation time,the amount of intraoperative bleeding,the use of painkillers and the duration of hospitalization were compared between the two groups.The Longo's ODS scores were recorded one and three months after the operation.Adverse reactions during the operation and postoperative complications were recorded.Results The operation time,the amount of blood loss,the number of analgesics used and the duration of hospitalization in the treatment group were better than those in the control group (P ＜ 0.05).At discharge,the effective rate in the treatment group was better than that in the control group (P ＜ 0.05).The scores of Longo's ODS in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group 1 and 3 months after operation (P ＜ 0.05).No cases developed adverse reaction during the operation.There was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion PPH is better than Block for RC in terms of short and long term effectiveness.It is a safe procedure and a potential for clinical application.关键词
