Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical safety and feasibility of day surgery mode of laparoscopic appendectomy. Methods:The clinical data of 97 cases of day surgery and 97 cases of inpatient laparoscopic appendectomy were analyzed retrospective-ly.The hospitalization time,hospitalization expenses,postoperative eating time,postoperative incision infection and intestinal obstruction were compared between the two groups.Results:The hospitalization time [(1.50±0.22) d vs.(3.46±0.61) d] and hospitalization expenses[(6 854.40±7.04) yuan vs.(7 750.92±35.36) yuan] of day surgery was significantly better than that of the inpatient sur-gery,and the difference was statistically significant(P>0.05).There was no statistical difference in postoperative incision infection(3 cases in day surgery group vs. 4 cases in inpatient surgery group) and intestinal obstruction (2 cases vs. 1 case).Conclusions:The day surgery mode of laparoscopic appendectomy is safe and feasible with the advantages of shorter hospitalization time,postoperative eat-ing time and fewer hospitalization costs,it does not increase the incidence of postoperative incision infection and intestinal obstruction.关键词
