摘要

Abstract

In order to deeply study contamination characteristics of insulators and reduce accidents of pollution flashover,this paper reviews status quo of research on contamination characteristics of insulator at home and abroad.It summarizes merits and demerits of three methods including natural contamination test,artificial wind tunnel contamination test and numerical simulation analysis,and analyzes influence factors on contamination.Finally,it concludes deposition conditions of contami-nation particulates on the insulator surface and corresponding research situations as well as looks forward to research direc-tion of contamination characteristics of insulators in the future.
