摘要

Abstract

The correction factor method is mostly adopted to calculate ampacity of 1 0 kV distribution cable,but correction factor method in IEC standard,GB standard and used by power supply bureaus for ampacity calculation are different.In or-der to reasonably and safely dispatch cable load,it is necessary to study the correction factor method for ampacity calcula-tion.By monitoring local soil temperature and testing soil thermal resistance factor,reference condition including air tem-perature,soil temperature and soil thermal resistance for ampacity calculation in Guangzhou area were determined respec-tively as 40 ℃,30 ℃ and 1.0 K·m/W.Reference ampacity,types and values of correction factor method were determined by comparing each standard values and software calculation values.Research results indicate reference ampacity and correc-tion factors in IEC standard are still adapting to Guangzhou area but reference conditions should be reselected.
