Expression and significance of platelet-derived growth factor-AA in the endometrial tissue of women with intrauterine adhesion

Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression and significance of platelet-derived growth factor-AA (PDGF-AA) in the endometrium of patients with intrauterine adhesion (IUA). Methods 80 cases of IUA undergoing transcervical resection of adhesion in our hospital from June 2015 to March 2016 were selected as the study group (22 cases of mild adhesion, 30 cases of moderate adhesion, and 28 cases of severe adhesion);during the same period, 30 cases of infertility without the history of pregnancy and with normal endometrial tissue showed by pathological examination were selected as the control group. The expression of PDGF-AA in the endometrium was analyzed by western blot and immunohistochemistry. Results The expression of PDGF-AA in the endometrium in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05); the expression of PDGF-AA increased with the increase of adhesion degree, the expression of PDGF-AA in the severe adhesion group was higher than that in the moderate adhesion group (P < 0.05), the expression of PDGF-AA in the moderate adhesion group was higher than that in the mild adhesion group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Increased expression of PDGF-AA in endometrial tissue of patients with intrauterine adhesion may promote the development and progression of IUA, and the increase of its expression content is closely related to the severity of adhesion.关键词
